I thought I would take a moment to explain my virtual absence from the blogging world recently.
I have had some great new brands come my way in recent months which is obviously A: good for my working life and B: atrocious for my blogging life.
I know some of you think I'm like Chandler in Friends: 'What does she actually DO?!' I look after the interests of numerous beauty brands in the UK and also match brands to retailers, and then manage that relationship. I also take on side projects (in the beauty industry) occasionally.
So for example if you had a brilliant new cleanser and you wanted to take it to market, I'm your woman. Equally if you have the beginnings of an idea and you want to start the process of MAKING that product - I'm your woman again.
I love what I do. Its just that at the moment I have new clients that need my attention.
Then when I get home I have a husband, two teenagers and two little ones that need my attention. Not to mention the cat. The housework. School business. Family. Friends. Simon Le Bon (ok fine not Simon Le Bon). And then there's Give and Makeup. I have to make that a priority as I know you all understand. All that has lately, left me with very little left at the end of the day for blogging.
I love blogging, but I don't live for it. So it has to fit in when I can fit it in. Which unfortunately, in recent weeks, is not often. And this is most definitely not a complaint - or a 'woe is me' post. I love my job. I'm a very lucky, blessed woman/wife/mum/daughter/mate. No complaints. At all. Just an explanation.
So I apologise to you lovely people that are so supportive when I do post. I have a plan and I'm putting it into action next week. Hopefully there will be enough of me to go round. And I can catch up with the ridiculous list of upcoming posts I have both in my head, in my Filofax and on my phone. And instead of wanting to climb back into bed with these two:
I'll have the energy to tell you all about my latest brand:
Well if anyone can talk about keeping your fanny clean....
As Arnie said to his housekeeper: 'I'll be back.'
