  7. Hi Caroline ,

Love your blog a quick question for you , i have been to many different dermatologist for my promlematic skin and i cannot manage to find a good moisturiser that does not break me out . My skin is dehydrated and i have blackheads and spots on my checks . Could you recommend a moisturiser please .. i’m 18 .

    Thank You
Hope to hear from you soon
    Maya xx

    1. I don't know if Caroline would agree (and would be interested to hear her opinion!), but I like Cetaphil moisturiser - I haven't found anything I like as much actually. It's the only moisturiser that truly gets rid of the tight feeling (for me) and it doesn't clog pores.
If your skin is dehydrated though, get yourself some Hydraluron ASAP!

    2. Hi Maya,

Depends on your budget to be honest. I don't use Cetaphil personally but i might have when I was 18! :)

    3. Moisture Milk by Elemental Herbology - moisturises the skin but helps to ease congestion! It's brilliant! Anything heavier would break me out within hours (especially Cetaphil) but give both a go perhaps :)

  10. Hi Caroline, would you be willing to write a post/comment detailing your current skincare routine? I have been trawling your site for moisturiser (mine doesnt do much), toner and serum recommendations but all seem to be dated now. I am an EH, hydraluron, peptabright convert and use your site as a bible. I would really appreciate some guidance on what your staple products are and when you use them. From what I've gathered I think I need to cleanse, exfoliate tone, hydrate tone, hydraluron, pepta, serum, moisturise. Is that correct? Which products would you use in those steps? Overwhelmed by all the different products (and my naivety!). Thank you so much for your time. X
