  1. Lovely article and some interesting reading. I've saved it to my favourites for future reference. :)

  2. Hi Caroline, please, please, please could you do a post recommending products for those of us in our 40's. I am fair, freckly with an oily T zone and am starting to show the first signs of ageing. Budget is limited therefore I want to ensure what I do buy works. my skin care routine has lost it's way and I'm floundering in the face of the huge array of products and the often unbelievable claims made about them. Some products such as Olay regenerist just seem to lie on the surface of my skin and when I apply makeup it rubs into little balls on my face, looks awful. I also have open pores which become blocked on my nose. All in all not a pretty picture! I have started using ey silex, good but does seem a little drying. Also is it ok to buy the products one at a time and start using them once I have a full range? I know your incredibly busy, any advice you can give would be greatly appreciated. Nyree x x

  4. Nice line, that Zelen's anti aging cream is the ticket. I really enjoy your reviews and you do a terrific job finding quality and unique products.

  5. Hi Caroline...I am a new fan from New Zealand. Your no-nonsense advice has been a godsend for my 50 something acne/rosacea skin to say nothing for my bank account and my bathroom cupboard!!! I am currently using Aurelia Cleanser, have ordered P50W, Clarins SOS and Queen of Hungary Mist. My skin is quite fine and the rosacea mild but the constant red bumps and blocked sebum has been an issue for too long. I am still looking for that HG Moisturiser and would love some advice. In the past anything too anti-aging has caused breakouts and excess oil. I am currently using Dr Jacksons No.1 skincream but was wondering if the shea butter could be the culprit? Cheers
