great video..keep on doing them please..i rely only on your recommendations
Seen it(seen them all!) and love it!Before I `met` you and your blog I was convinced I had a dry skin, but now I`m pretty sure I have dehydrated and combinatin skin(oily t-zone and cheeks, out side of face dry.So I went online and I ordered a lot of things you recommend. So:AM: AlphaH balansing cleanser with aloe vera,Pixi glow tonic(sometimes First Aid Beauty Pads),Melvita plumping radiance duo,Vichy Normaderm moisturezer.PM: AlphaH balansing cleanser or Michael Todd Skin Defender AHA face cleanser, Pixi glow tonic, Ole Henriksen african red tea mist, Caudalie polyphenol c15 or Michael Todd serum,Vichy moistureizer. 2-3 times a week Liquid gold-nothing after it.On the way I have Emma Hardie balm cleanser, Aveda clay mask, Ole Henriksen Three Little wonders and While Truth Kit. I get the feeling that all this is `sitting` on my face sometimes.I still get oily. Can you recommend me good oil for my skin(not juno :), if I buy that one I can buy divorce papers as well)A good moistureizer, spf as well? And do you put your eye cream over your lids(I do) or that`s a no no? I think I had a bunch more questions which I cannot remember now!Thank you LOADS in advance, love you and your blog and now finally youtube! :*
Have you tried the Shea Terra range? Primarily sold in the US (now available in Australia yippee!). It's all organic, the most incredible skincare I've ever tried and I've tried EVERYTHING. I have severely acne prone skin that gets very dry from all the Dr prescribed skincare I'm using and I'm in love with the Shea Terra oils. They are all organic and cold pressed and the quality is amazing. I highly recommend the range! Has really fixed my skin and now my breakouts are so much less and my skin isn't dry and painful. I've been using the Carrot Oil, Tamanu Oil and Rosehip Oil. My skin just drinks them all in. www.sheaterra.com Regards, Laura :)
No I haven`t, I`m from Serbia, so any of this stuff is not available to me, I can only order what is on feel unique or beauty bay, and even that way comes more expensive because I have to pay for taxes and customs in my country :( But thank you anyway for your recommendation Laura, very nice of you! :)
Hello - girl from Serbia :) - try searching on Clarins Lotus Facial Treatment oil here on Carolines page but also on the web. It is the best for oily/combination skin! I loooove it myself as it has cleared out my monthly breakouts, balances out the oils and keeps my skin hydrated! Use it every 2-3 night after toning. You should be able to buy that in a store in Serbia. It lasts forever - you only need a few drops.
Hey Micha :) I most certainly will look for it!We have Clarins here, but when I was looking for gentle exfoliator, they don`t have it in the store, so the lady explained to me that the program is different in different countryes...Darn it! I really hope we do have their oils!Or maybe Clinique...we have that one too.Thank you for advice! Greets from Boyanna from sunny Serbia! :)
What was the wink, what was the wink !!??!! Please explain the wink ! Was it a nudge, nudge, wink, wink I'm doing a make up line ??? Hmmmmmmm..........Eh eh eh eh ??!!?!
Hello,I know you emphasis on cleansing and I have read all of your posts! I just bought the clinique take the day off cleansing balm.I also go to the gym straight after work. Can you please advice me if it's okay to use 1)facial wipes or 2)Hydrabio H2O lotion to remove make up before going to the gym? Or must I use the clinique balm pre workout and then use it again once I get home for night time routine? Would greatly appreciate it if you could reply asap as I've been in a limbo for months regarding this matter. Subscribed :)
Thank you Caroline. I love your videos and all your tips (though I cannot find all the products mentionned here in Paris). You look amazing. UK = the Land of Caroline Hirons !
I always cut my tubes down too!! I started doing it as I have rheumatoid so I can't physically squeeze everything out, but when I realised just how much product was left in the tubes I now always cut mine down. Waste not want not!!
Love it! This was so enjoyable to watch. I am a Fresh lemon girl and I get it :) Sue
Caroline-As always,I loved your selections. I am so disappointed that Charlotte Tilbury foundations cannot be shipped to the USA. I do hope that they will carry the Charlotte Tilbury line somewhere in the US soon (Una Brennan as well--I would love to try that serum!!!!!!)
Hi Caroline, please don't take this as a criticism but I'd really love to see a high-profile beauty blogger raise some awareness for cruelty-free cosmetics and to use animal welfare as part of their criteria for recommending a product. We all want great skin but at what cost? Many of the brands we all know and love either openly admit they test on animals, or have carefully worded statements that make it sound like they don't when they actually do, or proudly ditched animal testing yonks ago, only to resume it again when marketing their products to a new, Chinese market (China insists that products need to be tested on animals). So animal testing is wrong, unless it opens up a new market...? You can obtain an official list of cruelty-free cosmetic companies from the BUAV and you will see that it's perfectly possible to achieve a fabulous complexion without giving any of your hard-earned cash to companies that are frankly cruel, in one form or another. Oh and if you want any motivation, look at the Beagle Freedom Project clip on You Tube of the dogs who see grass for the first time in their lives (and I defy you not to weep wholeheartedly). Ok, rant over, and sorry if I sound hostile! x
Hello, wondered if Caroline or any readers could help with the following - when I put makeup on it sometimes sets in lines/creases between my nose and the corners of my mouth. Could this be due to using an exfoliating toner? Im 24 xx
Hi Caroline! I want to ask you for your thoughts on silicone compounds in skin care products. I understand that in order to achieve a "flawless" feel they are sometimes necessary in make up products like primers and foundations. However, if these are present in a skincare product, does it prevent the beneficial ingredients from being absorb by our skin?
