Empties November 2014

Videos are back! Thank you for waiting. Been a tad busy but hopefully back on some sort of pattern now.

This is an empties video and the products featured are:

Jonathan Styling Creme - this has been on my channel before and is just gorgeous. Creamy, smelly (in the best way) and the perfect grooming/bun cream.
$24.00 from jonathanproduct.com

pixi Flawless Beauty Primer - this has been on the blog before (here) and is my most-grabbed primer. Glowing, healthy, skin in a pump. Available on pixibeauty.com

(I Am) A Sex Goddess by Neotantric Fragrances - I swear they named this just for that moment when you are asked what you are wearing. Peach, pink pepper, tuberose, vanilla - made for me basically.
It has disappeared from everywhere in the UK except Amazon here.

Kate Somerville Nourish - again a blog and vlog repeat. Easily in my Top 5 favourite moisturisers of all time. Good for all skin types. Available on katesomerville.com

Sunday Riley Start Over - No surprises here - you've seen this before (repeatedly) on the blog. Suitable for all skin types and all eyes. Available on SundayRiley.com

BioEffect EGF Eye Serum - Previously discussed on here as a major concern, I am currently converted. In short, the BioEffect EGF is plant-based - copied from human DNA not cloned directly from human cells like other EGFs.  Available on bioeffect.co.uk

  4. I know the Pixi is marked as a Primer but I met a Pixi MUA and she told me to never use another foundation on top of that primer because it was too much foundation type stuff and the primer wasn't really a primer but a tinted moisturiser more type product. I dunno. I usually use it on top of the Line Relax Primer! It's still fantastic!

  6. Soooo glad you are back on YouTube land! Great video!!! No better way to begin the week!!!

I'm very curious about the eye serum and the Pixi primer. I'm going to be in London around Xmas so I'm already amassing my shopping list (all skin care and make up, of course). You'd think I live in the middle of the desert....

You don't, by any chance, happen to have an appearance around the end of December? Not a good time for that, I know...

  9. Hi Caroline, I've suffered with bad skin on either side of my chin for a while. I know its hormonal, changing pill helped. Deep cystic acne and large spots no longer an issue, but now have lots of closed small comedomes on either side. Do you have any advice on how I can get rid of these, as clear skin is vital for my job? I'm sorry to ask on here - would love to get an appointment with you at some point. Thanks so much.

    1. Depends what you mean by 'closed comedones'. Just plain old blackheads?

    2. No, I suppose whiteheads but they don't show any white or prominent head. Just bumps.

  13. Hello!
Nothing to do with this post, but could you please give tips for flaky skin in the winter? -15°C in canada today and my skin is more flaky than ever despite the acids and hydrating masks...
    Thank you!!

  14. Hi Caroline. The Pixi Flawless Beauty Primer has 'C13-14 Isoparaffin' listed under the ingredients tab on the Pixi website. Is this free from mineral oil and different to normal paraffin? Thanks.

  18. I'm wondering if you know if the original packing Sunday Riley Start Over will ever be available again? I've noticed that the Sunday Riley web-site is down and I am in the U.S.A. and not sure about the new rollerball packaging. What do you think?
