Clinique Turnaround Revitalizing

Clinique are adding to their massively successful Turnaround range with this new franchise coming to stores this month.

Turnaround Revitalizing is made with radiance in mind - and is designed to restore glow and luminosity to skins that are showing signs of fatigue and environmental damage. That would be all of us then.

I'll be testing them out this week and reporting back in due course. On that note, I'm up at Mum's for a few days so will be testing out a lot of products, on both my skin and hers. Need to take advantage of her being a guinea pig for me while I can.

Clinique Turnaround Revitalising is on counters nationwide from 17th April. Prices start at £30.00.

  1. ooooh! This could be what I need! (oily but tired nurse from previous post)

Maybe I should wait and see what skin type you think its for,
For some reason after 24 years it suddenly seems so urgent to buy things!

  5. Not trying to be rude, but how about test them first and then blog about it and not the other way around?

    1. Not being rude either, but some of us like to know "what is in the pipeline". Especially with a new range, I would rather hear Caroline's opinion before I buy into the sales talk from counter staff.
Have a great time with your beautiful Mother - please ask her what make up ranges she uses, it is becoming so difficult as I don't want eye shadows and the like with glitter and glimmer any more, and just to be difficult, cannot do matt foundations either.

Would love to see a video with you and your mum! She is so beautiful, would be great to hear her secrets and maybe some of her thoughts on how products and routines have changed over time. Does she have a top ten list of favorite products she would be willing to share with all of us?
    Have a wonderful day!

  8. I look forward to hearing about this line- If it actually does what it's supposed to, I will be ravaging Clinique counters everywhere as soon as it hits retail.

  9. Looking forward to your review!!! I started to read your blog just a month ago, and my skin is already looking better!!! Not so much my bank account, but that is another story..... have a great evening!!!!!

  10. I love giving my mum recommendations. It is like a free trial for my future skincare!

  11. I tried turnaround about 6 years ago...I hoped that it would mildly exfoliate my skin (face+body) from my psoriasis patches...I guess it didn't work much for me back then!
I'm curious to see your findings!!
On that note I'm on the market for a serum. I'm 32, blesses with good genes so far (aka looking at least 5 years younger), so I guess it's high time to start an anti aging routine. Testing Estee's ANRII right now...looks good!
Next up will be Kiehl's Midnight Recovery Concentrate (I'm aware that these 2 are not comparable though)

    Keep up the good work!!

  12. Yes - please ask your beautiful mom to be a guinea pig for those of us who are more in her age range than yours. I'll tell you - these age spots and lines ... I"m sure you take good care of her skin and would love to hear what she loves.

  13. Oh, very curious about this. Do report ASAP!!!

Not trying to be rude but, some people are just UNBELIEVABLY bloody RUDE!!!! If you can't say anything nice, sit on your hands and shut up!!!
Caroline, some of us, really like to read ANYTHING you write...keep on, keeping on!!!

    1. Second that. Why does the order matter? It's intersting to hear what's coming and then get Caroline's thoughts on it. I love how all of that usually starts with "don't mean to be rude"

    2. Carloine recently met up with someone high up in Clinique and has mentioned Clinique a few times since even though she didn't seem to be a big fan of theirs before (apart from liking the take the day off balm) so obviously someone is pocketing some money to promote clinique's products nowadays. Maybe thats why she has posted their products before even tryig them. No need to jump on people's backs who ask harmful questions like the woman did firstly. Her question makes complete sense and she wasn't being rude at all.

    3. Oi: Anon.

I'm not pocketing ANYTHING from Clinique thank you. If I was I would declare it. Have you never discovered something, gotten excited and tried more things from the same brand? No? I have.
And bloggers - including me - have ALWAYS mentioned/talked about upcoming stuff before trying it, I just don't do it a lot so when I DO, people expect a review the next day. Don't assume. It makes an ass out of you and me. But mainly you.

    4. "Not pocketing ANYTHING" yet you have the range before it's even up for sale for the public....

    5. OMG are you SERIOUS? I'm in the fortunate position of receiving 95% of products before they go on sale. From every brand. Not bragging - just not sure you realise how this 'blogging' thing works. Buh-BYE.

    6. I personally love that you posted about this before you even tried it. If you hadn't, I wouldn't have even known that these products existed! I can't really find any reviews about them online either, they are so new. (Only two total reviews on Sephora!) Keep us posted, I can't wait to see how they work. I may just buy it today, I've been dealing with pesky spots about three months after accutane. Do you think this would help with tiny bumps on my forehead?Thnx.

  15. One thing I'd love to know is what are the exfoliating "bits" in the Instant Facial? Are they microbeads? Thanks so much!

  16. Thanks for doing a great job Caroline. I couldn't do what you do and I don't think I could keep my cool when some numpty pipes up with a rude comment that is just pointless.

  18. Love the turnaround concentrate Radiance renewer! Will that still be a part of the line, or replaced by the new serum??

    1. The Turnaround Concentrate is being replaced by the Turnaround Revitalizing Serum. The formulation has been updated so that is possible to use both the serum and the Turnaround Overnight Moisturiser at the same time without the possibility of causing irritation on the skin. The new formula is very similar to the old one but if you'd prefer for any reason to get hold of the old one it's still available at some Clinique counters while stocks last xx

  19. Whenever you see a comment along the lines of..not trying to be rude/insulting/inflammatory, it usually IS. Giving little sneak peeks is fairly common among bloggers. I'm interested to see how these products hold up, particularly the oil. Am in the market for an oil suited to my combination, sometimes spotty skin

  21. Hi Caroline
Thanks for all your great advise... something has been bothering me for a while now and I gotta ask you about it. I have Alopecia (total) I've had it for the past ten years or so and in my effort to look natural in my daily life, I've always used eyelashes.. I recently found out the the famous Duo eyelash adhesive contains formaldehyde in it which freaked me out.. I had only started to use this glue for about 1 year, but the glue that I had been using before that I don't thank was any better in terms of ingredients.. now I just wanna know your thoughts about eyelash glues in general and how harmful they can be specially during the pregnancy period (I'm not.. I just wanna know for when I do wanna get pregnant) I was able to find a few brands which claim they make organic glues but they either don't work well at all or they just use other harmful ingredients in place of formaldehyde and the adhesive agents.
I would really appreciate your response !

  23. Reading this article
    http://www.sarahjagger.co.uk/is-your-facial-oil-ageing-your-skin/
has made me put off buying any more facial oils for the moment - already have Perricone chia oil serum and a Nubo one to use up....

I haven't bought anything Clinique since the whole selling in China = animal testing issue came up but I like the blue packaging.

    1. I also read the Sarah Jagger article, very interesting read. I can see the logic behind it... but love face oils and creams. Her Derm puts her on an Obagi regime .. I have been thinking about hooking my self up with some Obagi .. Has anyone tried it ? I hear good and bad things about it. Please let me know if anyone has tried it. xx

  24. Can't wait to hear what you think of the oil 😊

  25. I am very curious of the oil (despite the article Sarah Jagger wrote) but would love to know the ingredients before buying this. Perhaps I am blind but I cannot find the ingredients list on Clinique's webpage and this really puts me off.

  26. Dear Caroline,

did you make a review of this series?
