Bobbi Brown Intensive Serum Corrector and Concealer

I think everyone I know owns a Bobbi Brown Shimmer Brick. And Bone eyeshadow. And quite possibly the original Corrector and Concealer kit. Where I was absolutely on board with the first two, I hadn't, until last week, got on board with Corrector and Concealer. Instead of being sensible, and asking the always amazingly talented team on-counter specifically how to use them, I would bungle through, using, I now know, the wrong colour and most importantly, in the wrong order. Duh.

Last week, to highlight the exclusive launch of the new Intensive Skin Serum Corrector and Concealer at John Lewis, I filmed a 'Secret to Perfect Skin' tutorial with the gorgeous Hannah from Bobbi's Pro team. You literally see my lightbulb moment on screen. It's really not that difficult Hirons.

Regular readers will know that I am anaemic, and always suffer with dark circles. Always. It's the first place I go to when applying concealer. The joy of the new Intensive Serum Corrector and Concealer is that it is designed to target all of the causes of dark circles around the eyes that I am asked about the most often namely aging, illness, excess pigmentation, irritation and dehydration.
They're beyond easy to use and the effect is immediate, looking more like you on a good day, than you wearing a ton of makeup.

Case in point:

The eye on the left is wearing the new Corrector and Concealer, right eye is my usual darkness.

You can watch Hannah and my clearly much-needed lesson here – and further details on the products are below.

  1. How does it work with the wrinkles? I hate most concealers because they only make my wrinkles look worse!

    1. I agree!! Would like to know that too.
Loved the video, makeup and everything. The end results make me want to buy every Bobby Brown product! Especially concealer and brick highlighter!!

  2. Hi Caroline,

I was wondering if you could let us know what you thought about the Muji skincare products you bought back some months ago?

You looked lovely post make up, and pre make up obviously!

  3. I love Bobbi Brown products! This one will be for sure in my next purchase. Thank you Mrs. Hirons you are awesome as always!

  4. Two things:
    1. It seems so obvious, but why have they never made a liquidy corrector before-I've always hated the pots. Genius.
    2. You look really pretty in this makeup :) People talk about the Bobbi look and I've never really felt there was a signature look, but I can really tell on you, and it suits you so well!

  5. You know, I must be the only the person alive not to have ever used any of those Bobbi Brown products, actually, little shameful to admit, I can't actually think of any BB I have ever used.
This however, looks right up my street. How does it perform on fine lines? I am on the hunt for the perfect undereye concealer and I've tried so many, but most end up sinking into my little lines and making them look twice as bad :-(

  6. Looks lovely! How do you think it would sit on dryer skin under-eyes? Sometimes I find they can be patchy in this instance.

  7. The corrector/concealer and the eyeliner looked AMAZING on you. Honestly, I think that you should never be without them. I was so impressed by the transformation that I'm going to buy that corrector/concealer today. I adore Bobbi Brown as she was the first high end brand to make appropriate foundations for women of color. I always find my perfect match. And I own way more of her shimmer bricks than I am prepared to admit on a public forum. IMO, she -- like you -- can do no wrong. :)

  8. Delightful!!! And you are so hilarious! Great makeup. I have dark circles #wokeupthisway and this looks like the ticket.

  9. How brilliant was that!! So great to see makeup being done that didn't involve a truckload of eyeshadow (I have hooded eyes too). Corrector and concealer are on my list for when they arrive in liddle ol New Zealand.

  10. I love this video Caroline - you look amazing (having your fabulous skin probably doesn't hurt though). Beautiful inside and out :)

  11. Caroline, you look amazing as always, but those eyes! After Hannah used the gel liner on you I was speechless. Ordered myself one immediately. Next the correctors and serum foundation. Thanks so much for doing this and letting us learn with you.
