VLOG WEEK ELEVEN - GROUNDING THE KIDS, RANTING AND NO PASSPORT

Well it looks like I didn't leave the house all week. Next week I'm off to Iceland amongst other things so there will hopefully be fewer breakdowns, less ranting and no lost passport *packs passport now*.

Have a great week everyone.

  1. Thanks Caroline for your ever inspiring humour no matter how bad your day you manage to raise a smile. You certainly cheered me up after a rotten week of being subject to an online scam. Love following your blog and use many of the products you recommend acid toning is the best!
    Best wishes to you

  3. wow that was odd. I got a sky news alert on my mobile that played the breaking news jingle over your video and then when it finished and I could hear you speaking again you were saying we interrupt this broadcast. perfect timing or what? ;-)

  4. Hi Caroline! I am really sorry you had a tough week! I guess not every week can be exciting and positive, bad ones make you appreciate good times more though. And with all that happened in Paris yesterday...thanks God your trip to France happened before all the shootings, that is just mortifying! Please cheer up and feel better, watching your vlogs always makes me feel happier =) Have a good week ahead!

  7. Thank you for making time for the vlog in amongst the builders and having a poop week , they are my guilty weekend treat. ( along with crumpets !) , I love the reviews and advice on the blog but the vlog is like catching up with a good friend over a cuppa albeit one who seems to cram 48 hours into every 24 ...seriously don't know how you do it !
Have a great time in Iceland can't wait for next weeks installment :-)

  8. Sorry to see you have a bad time because you bring so much laughter to your viewers.
Your washing machine is a beast! I really enjoyed that bit. Have a lovely trip to Iceland, I can't wait to see your vlog.
    All the best from Virginia!
PS-Can I ask you what pink lipstick you wore on your vlog? It's my favorite after the red lip--Hope I don't seem too entitled asking ;)

  9. I really really enjoy your vlog- so nice to hear about your ups and downs- very real- love it!! I am super interested in even more of your lifestyle content if possible? Candles, home stuff, decorating ( your red living room- yum!!) and etc. is great stuff. Good work and many thanks!
PS I am now addicted to Strictly- no easy task to get the BBC UK here in Arizona btw - love it. Be safe in Iceland.

  14. Fab as always! Very glad to hear it's not just my washing machine that sounds like it is trying to excavate itself from my flat and go on a trip to the moon!

  15. Thank you for the blog, vlog, and youtube videos. I appreciate all of the time and effort that you put into them; they help me decompress in the evenings. Also, my skin was always ok, took decent care of it and would get mistaken for being in my 20s (I'm not 😁, my oldest is 23), but thanks to all of your advice and reviews I love my skin now. Love the pink lipstick too.

  16. Could I just have a moment to say; woman, I love you!!! As a mom to the cutest, most inventive almost 2y.o. little girl, full time student, and part time wife/single mom (hubby works in the offshore business), your blog and videos are my "guilty" pleasure (I have to sneak some time on my own to read/watch)!
Thank you ever so much for beeing you! :-*

  17. OMG you're coming to Iceland! How great is that. You probably have the whole trip planned to the T, but if you need someone to show you the best icelandic skincare stuff and the best cocktails give me a shout here. Hope your trip will be lovely. Thanks for doing what you do.

  19. Loved the two Mr Hirons references, working v hard and needing you to know and then showing his lovely kindness. Keeping it real Queen Hirons. Hope this week is better. Love all you socials, every one. ❤️πŸ’‹πŸ’„

  20. Caroline, Will you be doing the Big Shop in Iceland?

  21. KEEPING IT REAL. Perfect. Thanks for making the rest of us whose lives are equally nuts, stressful and manic see that it's perfectly normal and we're not alone. It ain't all glossy glamour and I'm so glad you're willing to show that, warts, washing machine and all!

  22. Love the part about Mr. Hirons mounting his Vespa to come to your rescue with the passport! As I have no idea what he looks like, I've imagined him as a young Sean Connery type with a tweed jacket and some sort of scarf trailing in the breeze. Lol! (Stupid American woman, at your service. :) )

Have a great time in Iceland.

  23. Thank you Mrs Hirons! I'm sorry if I have asked you a zillion questions in the past and then never taken the time to write a tweet or comment to thank you. It's really rude. I wouldn't do it in "real life" so not sure why I thought I could do it here. I'm sorry, I hope you forgive me and I thank you for all your advice. I really appreciate the time that you take to write your blogs and make your vlogs.
I love watching your videos, reading your blogs and trying products that you love, as I know I will love them to as you're honest and speak in a language I can understand! You are also very funny and never fail to make me laugh!
    Thank you again.

  24. Arrrrrrh bless Caroline, I sometimes have weeks like that I could see you were upset what a STAR mr Hirons is regarding your passport.
I know this is not related, but what was that lovely lipgloss you were wearing the morning you were off to Paris love watching your vlogs xx

  26. My family and I pitched up to Sydney airport for a trip to our New Zealand house once. My Dad had left the keys to our NZ house back at home. An hour away from the airport. He made it there and back thanks to a most wondrous taxi driver with about 5 minutes to check in for the flight. It wouldn't be the first or last time we've dealt with such travel dilemmas with him!
