VLOG 24 - Brace yourselves for Country Music

Hi Everyone! A little country music festival to get your week going. :)

I'm taking the Easter break off with the kids - Max has three weeks off this year - I'll still be blogging - just not vlogging. See you back here around 11th April?

Gratuitous Charlie Esten shot for you. :)

  1. Super vlog! Happy Easter to you and your family. Greek orthodox Easter is 1st May this year so kids get twice as many eggs! Extra toothbrushes on hand! Be well and happy and will'check in with you later!' ;)

  5. Hi Caroline, long time reader/viewer here. LOVE your work & all the brilliant info & wisdom you share with us- thank you!

I know you get loads & loads of comments & Qs, but worth a go..! I am about to start a job with a humanitarian agency working in Highlands of Afghanistan (harsh weather conditions at both ends of spectrum, & basic living conditions).
I have acne-prone & dry skin (previous roaccutane-er) & currently follow (& love) a very 'Hirons inspired' routine BUT will have to simplify a lot for new lifestyle!
Any recommendations on products?? Currently scouring the blog for SPF recs!

Many thanks if you have time to answer, and wishing you & your family a great Easter!

    1. Take a balm cleanser, flannels, emergency makeup remover in case you have no water, acids in pad form, good moisturiser and good SPF! And what an amazing thing to do. Congratulations! x

    2. Thank you for your lovely & helpful reply! You made my day :) Balm cleanser, flannels, moisturiser & La Roche posay SPF -check!
Will buy some first aid beauty pads & emergency no-water cleanser over the weekend. Having a more minimal but good skincare routine will be my little luxury in the field (as well as a good stash of tea bags, of course!) x

  6. Dear Caroline,

I have a short question about acids in face care routine.
Is it allowed to use a pixi glow tonic mit acids and then some face cream with glycolic and lactic acid in it?
Is there any rule that says, you use either night cream with acids or toner with acids?

    Thank you for answering!

    1. hi! yes you can, but be careful you don't go overboard. Keep an eye on your skin - any dryness etc you need to back off. X
