Just to clarify, does this mean the box will be available on Thursday 26th May? X

    3. oooohhhhhh...very interesting! can't wait to get my hands (face) on this :)
I like the concept of 'theme' boxes, I'm already wondering what the content of next one will be (serums maybe?)
Thank you Caroline for sharing your knowledge with us (and for the massive discount!)
      xx

    4. Could you please talk more about how the first product de-sensitizes skin?

    5. The contents of this box! !! Simply lush ♡

    6. Hm... don't know if I can justify that amount of money on cleansers. My fav box was #2, from last summer. We'll see... if it sells out and I can't get it. Leave it to the universe!

    7. I don't really use eye makeup, thinking the Sonya Dakar Eye Wash will be wasted on me until it expires like all the free full size lancome eye makeup removers, they come as gift when buying skin care. The most exciting product is Dennis Gross MD Ferulic & Retinol. The last dream box is still hard to beat I would say, hahaha of course the emphasis/theme of last one and this is different. It has all the good products but doesn't get me as exciting as last time. I wish the may lindstrom product be the problem slover, and the eye product be a mask. Just saying, don't shout at me, at least you know what people think, people don't use makeup a lot. Xxx

      2. Yes, those are the two products i would change also. Just not as excited about this box. Oh, and maybe a different Oskia product as this exfoliating one was in the first box.

      3. Yes, I do feel the same way about both products you mention. (Still though I am tempted to buy)

    11. Caroline, could you lease do an update of the time? Is it going to be approx the same time as for the last box?

I left a comment on youtube but I repeat here, you are adorable!

    12. So excited for this box! It will be my first cult beauty box. Side note, have you tried any of the Farmacy stuff? It's sold at Sephora, not sure about the UK. Also been loving Mahalo Indigo Balm, which is similar to May Lindstrom Blue Cocoon but does not have Shea Butter. Lots of love from Texas!

    13. This looks very interesting. Caroline, could you expand on the Dennis Gross pads, please? The description says one month's supply; how many pads does that contain, please? The full-size product on Cult Beauty has 16 in it, but presumably this isn't the same? Thank you.

      1. That's a very good question. I watched the video yesterday so maybe I don't remember correctly but did she say use twice per week? So it has 8? Sorry if I am wrong.

      2. That sounds logical, Ana - thanks.

    14. This sounds like a great box. Unfortunately, I just completely changed my skincare routine, following your recommendations and I stocked up on Emma Hardy cleansing balm, Pixi glow tonic, serozinc, hydraluron, SR Luna, retin A and I'm broke LOL! Next purchase would be May Lindstrom balm and mask when and if I recover financially... Thank you so much anyway for being such a great source of knowledge. My cleansing routine has changed forever...

    15. Oooh dilemma!! I just discovered your blog at start of April and have been buying lots of cleansers as a result. Have prob spent around the price of the box or more!. Only last night I bought Pixi Nourishing Balm and at the weekend I stocked up on 3 x Emma Hardy Cleansing Balm with EH face cloths. Have also got Alpha H Liquid Laser Cleansing Oil and Alpha H Balancing Cleanser and Perricone Cold Blue Plasma. So I prob don't need this box right now!!

I would like the Oskia Microcleansing Balm and the May Lindstrom facial mist so could just buy these perhaps................

However I can't believe there are not 7 flannels in the box ;-)

      1. Yes! Seriously a box about cleaning ought to have flannels!!!

        Delete
      2. I agree, I assumed there would be at least 1 flannel in the box! Thought that was the point of all of those in the background.

    17. Boots have discontinued their Boots Organics hot cloth cleanser - I feel like this violates the implied social contract between this blog, retailers of oil cleansers, and the internet.

(I'm being a child about it obv, but my mum just visited and loved it, and her budget (or mine really) isn't large enough to contemplate alternatives, and it sucks. Boo, Boots!)

      2. Oh NO, Thank you for the notice. I bought this at Caroline's recommendation also and it just makes me so happy. I love using the balm and the both that came with it. I'm going to my local Targets (I'm in California) this weekend and see if I can get any.

    18. This is amazing, it was very helpful. My doctors say I just need to cleanse so it's perfect, however it's too expensive for me to buy so many similar things at once (AND I use euros). I will come back though and try some of these one by one.

    19. I'm just hoping I won't be busy at work when this e-mail arrives.

Happened with the last box (although I was lucky to get it second time round).

It's making me stress out already ! Lol

    20. :( I may be on the road when it goes on sale. Hopefully I can learn how to do it over the phone.

    21. I'm confused...has anyone actually bought the box yet?

      ReplyDelete
    22. If you have a spare minute, could you explain quickly what emulsifying actually is please? I'm confused x

      ReplyDelete
      Replies
      1. It's the method of use recommended by a lot of the manufacturers of water soluble cleansers and simply means adding a bit of water to the product via wet hands after you have massaged it on to your face. The product then "emulsifies" i.e. breaks down, and can be rinsed off with water. It is quicker, easier and less messy to use a warm, damp flannel to remove these cleansers, as per Ms Hirons.

    25. Put the box in my bag. Realized I haven't got that much money in my budget this month or next month. Removed the box from the bag. Will have to prioritize the products and maybe order one at a time when they fit into my budget.

    26. I can't tell you how happy you have made me Caroline. I have a BOX, winging its way to me. Love x

    27. I just bought one of your remaining Cult Beauty boxes! I'm so excited. Cleansing is my favourite part of the routine so I can't wait to try some of your recommended cleansers. Especially excited to try the one from MV Organics as I struggle with redness :)

    28. Hi Caroline, I've been working my way through the cleansing cult beauty box & as you've helped me understand and sort my skincare out, I'm actually quiet surprised you choose the Pixi Cleansing Balm. If I don't like a product I always pass them on to my daughters but this Pixi cleansing balm is going straight in the bin & I will not subject my daughters skin to it. I may as well have put Vaseline on my face. It wouldn't shift or emulsify. I'm curious as to why you recommend it? As I find you always honest and straight to the point. Am I missing something? ps, thank you for all the help, time and information you give us ladies But I'm so confused as to why you recommend this Pixi cleansing balm? I've never used anything as bad as this.
