I wasn’t around when Pat McGrath launched in Selfridges but have since got my hands on it and couldn’t resist showing you a taste of what they have to offer.
There are multiple palettes, lips, eye liners and shadows, along with limited edition t-shirts (still available online here) and prices start at £23.00. The formulas are all of the highest quality, and the pigment is dreamy. Selfridges Oxford Street have given over their entire corner shop to the launch, it’s open for a further two months and you can make appointments with her artists here: Selfridges/CornerShop
My only reservation is the excessive sequin packaging that some of the products come in. I’m all for glamour but they’re far from ‘ecologically minded’…
They’ve already been knocked off by Victoria’s Secret, something that Pat’s fans were suitably up in arms about, although personally I’m more concerned that we’re going to be drowning in non-biodegradable plastic for years to come, but each to their own..
