TAN-LUXE SUPER GLOW HYALURONIC SELF-TAN SERUM

It’s been a long time since I talked self-tanning on here, but this one deserves the attention. Almost immediately. I’ve had it no more than two weeks (ish), but am literally using it morning and night. I’m not joking.

I’ll keep it short. If you are not blessed with a lot of melanin like our darker sisters (and brothers) and are, at times, a tad sallow (yellow, pale, milk-bottle white), you need this.

I have a few makeup/cosmetic items that I am currently obsessed with (more of which in upcoming posts), but this Super Glow Hyaluronic Self-Tan Serum from Tan-Luxe is brilliant. I mean, ‘dog’s bollocks’ brilliant.

Labelled as the first-ever superfood self-tanner, the lingo states thus:

  • Chia Seed Oil: maintains healthy moisture levels
  • Beetroot Extract: brightens complexion
  • Raspberry Seed Oil: anti-oxidant
  • Avocado Oil: rich in fatty acids & vitamin E
  • Kale Extract: brightens & tightens skin
  • Blueberry Extract: rich in antioxidants
  • Coconut Oil: reduces inflammation

The reality is: it’s a beautifully hydrating serum that just happens to make you look like you’ve caught the sun. A little of the sun, or a lot of the sun, the choice is yours. It’s non-sticky to apply, doesn’t stain any bedding and at 4% DHA, is totally layer-able, and definitely does not turn you orange.

I very rarely throw everything behind something these days, because as we all do, I’ve gotten fussier as I’ve gotten older, but there are a few brilliant products coming up where I will say without hesitancy: you need to buy this.

And this is definitely one of them.
