What’s the website like?
Great. Full ingredients listed, 15% offer when you sign up to it, and full of information.

What’s good about them?
This is a brilliant acid product, with a sophisticated formula. Non-drying, it really helps the follow-up products to absorb. Containing 4 types of acid: AHA, BHA, PHA and TXA.

They breakdown as the following:

AHA – glycolic acid to deeply exfoliate and smooth and correct signs of ageing, azelaic  to target redness that comes with breakouts

BHA – liphydroxy acid and willowbark extract help to clarity the skin

PHA – gluconolactone to target skin tone and texture while helping with hydration

TXA – tranexamic acid helps to prevent irritation that can lead to hyperpigmentation

Additionally, StriVectin have utilised all of the synthesised actives from Gotu Kola, asiaticoside, madecassoside, asiatic and madecassic acid, together known as centellosides, known for their antioxidant and wound healing properties, to ensure that the active part of the pads, being the acids, are not overpowering or drying to the skin.
When used regularly you can expect your skin to feel smoother and softer and look brighter. Your pores will look less pronounced and like they’ve chilled out. You do not need to over-moisturise to compensate for the potentially drying ingredients always found in acids. This leaves your skin glowing, not tight and dry. Everything applied afterwards absorbs wonderfully and I find that you can use less serum and moisturiser as a result.

What’s not so good about them?
Nothing. It’s a genuinely great acid. They’re definitely on the stronger side, so if you are sensitive, patch test, as you should always.

Would I purchase/repurchase?
Yes.

You need these if:
You are on the market for an acid, are looking to step up your acid game, or have dull, combination or older skin.

You don’t need these if:
You have 20 different acids already. Step away. Get a grip.
