Heading back to the Winter Skin Cheat Sheet to take a look at exfoliation in the colder months. Although, being honest, there is nothing to stop you using these in warmer climates. Not everyone can, or wants to use liquid acid-based exfoliators and the products shown here can all give you exfoliation through the more traditional manual method, without tearing your skin.
In no particular order:
Fresh Sugar Face Polish - http://bit.ly/2UEJGGB
Suitable for most skins, perhaps a little too 'scrubby' for acneic skins. Leaves skin incredibly smooth using sugar and strawberry extracts. Great for dull skins.
This one does contain acids so it's a triple-whammy - manual, chemical and enzymatic exfoliators make this is brilliant exfoliating treatment that can buff any face. A long-time fave.
This heavy-hitter contains acids, volcanic ash, kaolin, lactic and kojic acids and fruit enzymes to exfoliate, resurface and draw out impurities. Takes no prisoners.
Pacifica Future Youth Enzymatic Resurfacing Mask - no longer available but they have other good choices
I bought this last year in LA. They have since repackaged/reformulated their entire range and are a great option for budget-friendly masks.
Herbivore Blue Clay Detoxifying Treatment Mask - herbivore.com
Designed with problem skins in mind, this can be mixed with water and dabbed directly onto spots, or used all over if so desired. It literally only contains three ingredients - two types of clay and rose geranium oil, said to help combination skins.
Leahlani Kokoleka Ritual Dessert Facial Mask - http://bit.ly/2CdTqAnOk so this mask has also just been repackaged, but the juice is still the same loveliness. Another one dedicated to acne, oily or problematic skins, the name literally means 'chocolate' in Hawaiian. Lush. All the C's here: clays, charcoal, coconut mik (not oil), and cacao.
