Formulated for experienced acid users, The Strong Acid is our strongest liquid exfoliant, combining the power of alpha-, beta- and polyhydroxy acids (AHAs, BHA and PHA) into one powerful formula.

This next-generation acid toner works hard to smooth skin texture, banish dullness and reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles. Glycolic, lactic and mandelic acids work alongside shikimic and phytic acids to deliver AHA-powered resurfacing, supported by gluconolactone (PHA), while salicylic acid works to decongest the skin. Formulated at an optimally low pH for effective resurfacing, this is our most advanced exfoliating acid for experienced users.

Formulated with no fewer than seven acids, including five different AHAs, this is exceptional for refining skin texture and tone, clearing pores, and reducing fine lines and wrinkles. If you want a powerful, high-strength exfoliant, this is the one.

KEY INGREDIENTS

Glycolic, Lactic and Mandelic Acids
Powerful AHAs that visibly smooth skin texture, increase radiance and improve the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles while promoting hydration.

Phytic and Shikimic Acids
Gentle, plant-derived AHAs that complement the exfoliating action of glycolic, lactic and mandelic acids while reducing hyperpigmentation and promoting radiant, glowing skin.

Gluconolactone
Known to be a gentle alternative to AHAs, this PHA helps to delicately exfoliate the skin while increasing hydration and offering antioxidant protection, promoting healthy-looking, glowing skin.

Salicylic Acid
Decongests the skin and unclogs pores, helping to improve skin texture and promote smoother, clearer skin.

Niacinamide
Regulates the production of sebum (oil) on the skin, in turn reducing the appearance of pores and improving skin texture. Minimises the appearance of redness whilst supporting the skin barrier.

HOW DOES IT WORK?

All five AHAs work together to exfoliate the surface of the skin, alongside gluconolactone, while salicylic acid helps decongest pores and niacinamide helps to soothe skin and regulate oil production.

HOW TO USE

Use in the AM or PM, up to 3 times a week. After cleansing, dampen a cotton pad with the toner and sweep over a clean, dry face (or to specific affected areas), avoiding the eye area. Follow with the rest of your routine.

Do not apply directly to areas of broken skin.
